***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Nope, no wings but the males have horns. They ram each other like mountain goats to fight over territory.
My dad was a saint. Unfortunately I didn't hardly ever get to see him my whole life.

I have to agree it is only an opinion, nothing to get upset about.

Those bugs look really big compared to the one's I delivered for Teach.

Sometimes I think I miss all the fun! I am married to a man that doens't agree with me having bugs, bees or bat houses. DD birthday is in 2 wks, maybe if she wanted bugs for her birds that would be acceptable?????

hmmmm, just like humans. females are wider than the males!

That is true, you had a lot of juveniles. The adult hissers are bigger then the dubia's though, but I have some very large dubia's that would give a smaller adult hisser a run for it's money sizewise.

How can he not agree to a bat house????? That is outside and they eat sooooo many insects. I live by the theory that it's better to ask forgiveness then permission though.

He definately paved the roads that angels fear to tread (not just walked them).

I just keep a big rolling pin and a cast iron skillet within reach....

No, seriously, Roger has supported me in every whim except having horses when we moved to the farm. His youngest daughter was run over by a frightened horse and was clipped on the back of the head when she was 3 years old. He has never liked them since. Today at 35, she is having neck issues..skull not seated correctly on the C-1 vertebrae.
On issues where we may differ, he usually comes around to assist me if I forge forward with the data and the preparation.
In other words...he is a keeper!

Cowboy, that's just my opinion, that's all.
You can bet some people think I'm a fool for spending $19 on fat bugs, too. But that's ok and I'm not offended.

Im not upset either, was just saying.
As far as the bugs go, I am glad you guys started talking about them. I am looking into them myself from what I have been reading from you guys. I havent told the chickens yet though, I dont want to get them excited yet.
