I'm so neurotic about that I have duct tape over the camera eye on my laptop. I don't even know how to turn the video thing on. I think I've watched to many suspense movies where people get spied on by other people turning that camera on w/o them knowing.

I bet there is an antipsychotic medication for that!

Joe, those birds are just beautiful! I wish OEGB males got along because I'd sure love to have a bachelor pen of them. I'm assuming they don't do well together even if they grow up together?

woo hoooo!!!! brand new laptop! now i gotta reenter everthing i had saved, and resend my pics from my pc at my daughters.
the other one just kinda had it, been thru 2 families and the last one before me was my granddaughter when she was 8. took me 3 days to get the hard drive cleaned up on it, then used it for a couple of years.
this new one is just a little faster and works just a little better that the old one!
and i hope i dont turn the video chat on, at least till i put on some pants!

New and used computers are one of my favorite things! Even if you turned the video camera on you'd have to also have a program on that lets you chat with someone. I think your best bet just might be to put some tape over it haha!

i raize groups of young cockerles togather all the time and they do just fine and i have had bachelor pens of OEGB roos without any problems if there is enofe room in the pen and you don't have anny hens in with them they can get along just fine . they will have a pecking order but usualy dont have anny problems

now this dose not mean that you can go buy a buntch of roosters and turn them loose in a pen togather but you can intergrad roosters into a bachelor pen there has been several times when i have have 15/25 cock birds in the same pen wothout problems

Howdy all, I hope everyone had blast at the auction, I was thinking about going esp since I missed going last week, I went to OKC and picked up a truck load of stuff I won on an online auction yesterday didn't get home till around dark I was trying to decide if it was going to rain on it or not and since I couldn't get it all unloaded by myself I pulled a large tarp off some other things and got tangled up fell and laid in the drive way for a while laughing at myself thinking "I've fallen and I can't get up" it hurt a bit and I was thinking I know I can and even if I couldn't get up I didn't have a phone to call anyone LOL I wasn't hurt really my elbow is a little swollen it's not the first time I've landed on it but it will feel a lot better when it quits hurting, I picked up a nice hutch for a desk top that has glass doors on both sides, I'm thinking I will cut the middle out and lay the cabinets on the sides and stack them will make a nice looking small case that will fin on my desk next to the hutch already on it, I also got some trays and a stout work table I will have to figure out how to get it moved into the house and in the back room I should hold all four of the small hatchers I'm making and still leave some work space for handling the eggs and whatever else in the hatching room, I sure like that way that brooder is set up Coral I have been wanting to get away from the rubber tubs I have been using and I have enough trays to build some like that or similar to it, I have several 4 drawer file cabinets that I have considered trying to make brooders out of I think it would work well for the first couple of weeks after they hatch, I've even considered tying to make one of them into a four drawer hatcher there is enough space around each drawer for air flow the thing is the drawers are kinda deep so might be a lot of wasted space really the advantage would be that you could open one drawer and not effect the other ones very much, Anyways that's just a couple ideas that I'm playing with while I set around and lick my wounds LOL I'm sure I'll change my mind by the time I get around to actually building what I need

It really does and I quit bouncing so well several years ago LOL I discovered last night that at 50 I don't have any bounce left, at least not when it comes to hitting the ground, It was pretty late last night when it happened so have been a bit sore all day, That's why I didn't even try to go to the sale, I'm sure I'll make it up at the next sales I get to.

I can edit and add things to my page that I made for my incubator, I can't find a way to make a new page though, Anyone have an idea how or where the option is to make an additional page? I want to set up and start a couple more for other projects like the Automatic chicken plucker I'm starting as well as other projects I hope to have under construction by spring.
