OMG I can understand city folk being hesitant to feed and water a herd of goats, or a feedlot full of heifers, but to KICK CHICKENS??? NOOOOO!!!!!

Yep ... I was not happy. It's so frustrating. I love my animals.

Today's only snake. Inside a gqf brooder that had chicks in it in the barn. I had just walked up to the house & DD was finishing up with the chicks. Thankfully no chicks lost. Guessing he just got in there.

Nana I love your set up! Do your wire cages have wire floors? We bought a stack set that has wire floors but I just felt so sorry for the birds we had in those cages being on wire I moved them, lol.

The brooder tubs are wood shavings, the other cages are small wire bottoms(1/2 x 1 or 1/2 x 1/2) with slide trays. For smaller chicks in the biggest cage on the side, I have cut a layena bag to fit the bottom and have shavings in that one. since the wire bottom is 1 x 2...too big for little ones.

I couldn't get it to copy either!

What about printing it out and then copying it enlarged. Then posting it.


Going to Carl and Stephanie's in a little while to pick up the Bo Garret blue cochin babies....
