***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Yup. When I talked to the vet she said they're one place I don't have to explain myself to. It's an Avian clinic so I'm sure they see their share of old lady's canaries, too

i didnt know you had canaries mitzi, when did you get them?

i found 3 metal founts in the barn, not sure of condition but will have them at poops tomorrow.

looking for anything else i dont need.

Looks like the last two guinea eggs are not going to hatch. I'm going to give them one more day, just in case they are late bloomers. Here are the five that hatched on time. They were snoozing when I set the camera on the floor of the brooder, but the noise of moving the water dish out of the way woke them. You can't really see the white-winged keet. I hope it turns out to be a girl.

I stopped in at the yard sale and took a closer look at the nest boxes and asked him how much he wanted for it, he is asking $100, it's 16 holes they seem kinda small each hole maybe for leghorns or bantams the width is about 4 and 1/2 feet maybe, it has a couple of dents on one side but not bad and some light rust in the bottoms that can be painted, I offered I can bring it to the swap tomorrow if someone was wanting it,

Question: Does anyone have an extra crock pot they can bring, or some cooler space? I am making the chili in a pot on the stove, and I just kept throwing in more and more and more stuff until now it's about twice the size as my crock pot will hold!

That's a problem when I start cooking for people who like southern food (unlike the Yankees I live with!) I get carried away! And please, please, please tell me someone is bringing Fritos! This stuff smells like it would make an AWESOME Frito pie! I promise I won't eat it all tonight!
