I have the chili and it is driving me CRAZY! It smells SOOOOO good! 4 lbs organic grass fed beef, a leedle bit of organic home cured dry rub, applewood smoked bacon (for the beans), lots of tomatoes, six kinds of organic beans, organic homemade chicken broth, organic onions, organic garlic, chili powder, cumin powder, fresh ground black pepper, touch of cinnamon, and red wine to deglaze the pan. It's been simmering all afternoon and making me all kinds of hungry. Can't wait!

OMG Forget chili dogs, is anyone bringing bowls and spoons?

Wow! Finally got caught up on the posts....

I am in the City and will be ready to go in the morning... a 20 minute drive is much better than a 2 hour drive with 4 cranky kids mad at me cause I got them up at 5 to leave at 6 to be there at 8....

try getting a cranky old woman up at 4

so you can be on the road by 5

so you can be there by 8

so she can set out in the sun all day

so she can be crankier on the way home.
