I am just a few miles west of Idabel, OK and yes I am familiar with Crowder. Not too many places in this great state I haven't been and nowhere else in the world I would live. What variety of cochins are you interested in??? Thanks for the compliments, the birds belong to the Lord, I just tend them for Him.

I so agree, OK is an amazing state full of awesome diversity and cool natural areas. I always say I'm a yankee by birth, but an Okie by choice.

The blue game's are out of a roo that sold at blanch last yr for 180.00 buck's The guy said that he had blue chick's out of everry thing he breed to..

Just got in from the sale at Blanch most all the bird's brot a high price seen some bantum's bring from 8 to 15 each an hen's 7 8 10 ansome brot 15 ,,,The bird's with no feather's on ther back's wer the cheap'es Thim bard rock's Jcat was talking about at the end did have nice red cobm's but no feather's on ther back's an the guy did say they wer only 1 yr old was a good buy if you had a place to let thim run out on the grass ..Some of the rabbit's sold high an they wer alot of thim i bot some buck's cheap..Got 3 nice black O.E roo's an 3 milly deucle hen's Bot my mom ome chicken pic's to hang on the wall..The best part was geting to see all the bycer's an talking chicken's ..Eat some of Al's pickld egg's they had a verry good taste ..HOT an spicy...Al's daughter's an my daughter are verry good frind's everry sent;s they met at poop's ..They went to the crawdad an rod show in Elgin today .Thin went to the rodeo in Gracemont ...Wel everry one have a great morning i injoyd reading you guy's post an seeing your pic's ...

I'm 99% sure that Bo had/has just the Blue Black and Splash.
You've got me really wanting to give it a shot again now. Did any of the eggs you gave your brother hatch?

The Brown Red roo that sold was Bo's. he also has Buff, Black Mottled (project) and maybe more.

Happy Mothers day to all you wonderful hens out there!
Rainy day here,like 90% rainy! but we need it,its actually been a very dry spring here. Glad I got my garden hoed yesterday!
Went to the sale yesterday and sold most of my birds and critters. Just kept things that were either unreplaceable or at least very hard to replace for me. We went back to Okla. last week for a couple of days. Wife had an interview back there. Haven't heard anything yet. But I decided its time to concentrate on getting back there. So less money spent on feede means more for getting started on building a place to stay. I hope ot start making longer trips back there more often to work on the farm. We had a septic system put in this spring so I have a lot of rock to rake up and yard to get back into shape. I told my wife ,one of us is going back there to work just not for sure which one yet!lol.
