Well of course. I don't want to risk asking normal people and having them say no :-O
I may be weak-willed but I'm not stupid. Sheesh.

ROFL! Well I would be the wrong person to ask. Heck I am going to drive 20 miles twice a day to check eggs and feed feather babies all during our 3 weeks of fireworks. That is how badly I want to keep my bator going, haha.Well of course. I don't want to risk asking normal people and having them say no :-O

I knew I was asking the right crowd lol!
Christina, I remember so well how summer vacation felt when I was a kid. I sure wasn't like Taron in liking school though!
I'm on my way right now, thank you lol!Mitzi have you checked out the crazy 24 hour auction thread. It is under the swaps & meet ups. They always list lots of nice eggs there. Different stuff than in the for sale section usually.
It's the first post under swaps & meetups right now-- may drop a few threads quickly.I'm on my way right now, thank you lol!
Edit: Shoot, it looks like they closed it, that figures.

I hear ya! Hatching just sounds like so much work. I think for the next few years at least if I get a chick hatched it will be on accident.RetiredArmyWife - I'm glad I'm not the only one! I won't be able to keep the chicks from my planned broody experiment since there are rules about how many chickens we're allowed in the city limits and I am already more than full up on clucks. I am really just tired of trying to break broody hens out of their hormone-induced mania by taking them off the nest every 30 minutes - I figure it will be easier just to let her set on some fertile eggs.
