Elie, congrats on the hatch! I love our FBCM chicks. I can't wait to hatch out more later in the summer. Pretty Chicks I have 5 kinds of Marans and love them all. Now my splash roo is such a loud mouth but I still love him.
Well our hatch is well underway. I moved 50 eggs to the hatcher yesterday and so far 25 are out we have one pipped at the wrong end of the egg so just gonna have to see if that one makes it.
It was so good to see everyone at Blanchard tonight. Prices were blah if you were selling, great if you were buying. I did manage to find Kurt a nice partridge bantam cochin thanks to MJ, Thank you MJ!!! He was so happy to have found one. He is settled in nicely in quarentine. We also came home wtih 2 sweet little kitties. Hubby will be so happy about that, not! LOL Wish we could have stayed to the end. There were some sexlink pullets I wanted to bid on just to put them in a forever home. They looked aweful!!! I have never seen birds in that poor of shape, they looked to be pecking each other to death. I hope they found good homes where they can recover their feathers and live happily. We hope to be in Newcastle next week but my mom is having open heart surgery on Thursday so my weekend is up in the air.
Looking forward to tomorrow at home with the kids and hubby will be home sometime between 2AM and noon depending on what time the races end.
