***OKIES in the BYC III ***

SpunkyChickenMomma, I think those Silkies are Blue, they'll darken up a lot in the next few months. Betsey will know for sure what color they are. Your birds are gorgeous!
Joe, I love the pictures of the kids showing their birds, they all look so proud :)) We didn't stay long, we were hoping to avoid the storms on the way back but ended up driving right into them anyway. I hope the Ara boy is glad to be back home, it was sad this morning when he wasn't here to let out.
Here's the 3 I got yesterday. Does anyone know if there's a name for the color of the fawn colored frizzle? I've never really seen that color before on a Cochin, it's like coffee with cream. The white one is an Ameraucana/Cochin mix or D'Uccle mix or something, darling little girl.

it was drenching here- went out to lock birds up and halfway there a crack of thunder made me turn back to the house, found out later it took out one of our big trees

i discovered with arthritis in the hands, to crochet or knit to keep them limber- i have been crocheting off and on since i pestered my grandma to where she gave in many years ago- it hurts like heck at first, but after about 5 minutes thats done - i knit a little but prefer crochet

i am listening to little jet and his half a crow- so darn cute!
I crocket and knit too and I am much better at crochet than knitting too. Arthritus is starting to bother me. It is common in my family. My Mom's Dr. told her to keep her hands busy by playing Solitaire ( with real cards, not the computer) which she does. She also plays the piano and is their church organist, has been for many, many years. She was playing the organ for the Easter services on the day I was born

I never could get past cast on w/ knitting, but I can do the afghan stitch in crochet, that is knitting w/ one hooked needle! lol An elderly lady tried to teach me tatting too, but I never could get the hang of it either. I would love to learn to play the piano or harp, but I am seriously not musically inclined at all.

I have been trying to pull weeds in the garden and do some clean up work, it really needs to be done, but mostly b/c that gives me a legitamate reason not to be doing housework, but I just can't seem to stay on task. It is beautiful outside though.

A few pics of the chickie doos from today, they had not seen the sun in almost a week, they missed it! lol

Any ideas on what type of comb this is?
