***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Everyone involved did a great job with POOPS! I know it was a lot of hard work, but everything went well and there was a really good turnout. The best part of POOPS is getting to see friends and make new ones. I'm happy my babes went to CEOKA and to Scoots, as I'm sure they'll get good treatment. Loved hearing CEOKA's plans for them. Also loved hearing about some I've sold earlier. So many good stories!

Never get to get around to see and meet everyone I want to, but got to talk to quite a few. Vashi always enjoys POOPS as well, and he's wonderful support.

Ditto! Thanks for letting us sit by you at lunch!

Hope everyone made it safe home yesterday...Vern and I are proudly wearing our POOPS tshirts around OKC for our errand day.

Again...thank you VERY much all of you who made POOPS happen...whether your contribution was big or small...it was sooo much fun! It was good to see and hear new folks walking around and asking questions. You can't beat the combined years of experience and wisdom our group offers.

This is a horrible picture but she is almost there and the second egg is starting to zip. Be warned I am probably going to be posting about this hatch for awhile. I can't believe how excited one grown man (me) can get about chickens.

Right there with ya dude. And it never gets old, whether its from the incubator or from a broody hen. Lol

Afternoon, Okies!

POOPS was a lot of fun. Thank you to all those who invested time and energy (and money) to make the event a reality. If anyone gets a hankerin' to put together a gathering this summer, let me know. I sure would like to help more (when school is over). Betsy - I sure enjoyed watching your silkies.

Hey guys! So glad people got pics from poops! Please post them on the poops thread too so they will be all together! The best part to me was meeting so many! Awesome day.
Oh and don't forget to pm me if you want to order more shirts.

Also today I have my first turkeys hatching!
Oh and I think I have a broody too!

looks like we have 6 ducklings, and surprise! We have a litter of kittens up in the barn, didn't know mama was there- hoping they stay around to curtail the rodent population

In yrs past we have had more kids / teens at poops, so I understand wanting more teens! My oldest is not too social & they were both trying to work & help as needed. They didn't have much time to hang out yesterday.

I spoke to Scoots some about the types of donations he wanted & he said they want to raise $1000 for the Jr Show. The items will be sold after eggs & chicks. He would like to focus on poultry related items, eggs, chicks, feeders, birds, etc.

Hated leaving before the auction, but I needed to get home. If I stayed I would have been forced to take home Don's Buckeyes & would have been so tempted by dark brahmas. Am I going to regret being NPIP?

Robin love that duck shot!

Number 2 chick is out! Number 1 is still working at it. I don't know what you guys were so worried about
