I made the most stupid misake with my geen house because our carrots never grew the past 5 years I just sprinkled the packages of seeds lightly through the green house. Ten days later we have the green house coverd . I thout some would die off but they are thriving and even befor I did that carrots were already coming up from last year because none of them sprouted . Now when I go in to the green house I only see green no ground.

That is awesome. Do you have rabbits to feed the greens to when you start harvesting?

NanaKat after one full day on Tylan my pullet's eye no longer has watery pus in it when I clean it out! I hope the swelling will finally start going down tomorrow after two full days of Tylan.

ETA: I was only going to do the Tylan for 3 days, but I am thinking she is probably going to need 5 days. Is there a limit where it no longer helps, or should I just keep giving it to her until her eye is significantly better? Is there a limit to how many days I can give it?

I make sure they have a constant supply of water and lots of shade. I am also hooking up a misting system to help keep them cool since chickens can't sweat. Mine free range with my ducks and I have a kiddy pool in the shade for cool water. I add water too it several times during the day. I have lots of big trees and bushes for them to rest and keep cool under. Everyone is so helpful on here.

Oh! A kiddie pool is a good idea. We'll be moving them through the pastures behind the cows so a moveable water source is priority. We're looking at float systems to keep the water level up.

I got spangled russian orloffs, white frizzles, milli fleur d uccles, white silkies, naked necks, white cochins, black jersey giants, buff laced polish, mottled polish, white crested black polish, gold laced polish, and silver laced polish

i am getting russian orloffs when we get chicks.. as well as about 8 or 9 other breeds as well..
