We do it the old fashioned way. Peel and pit peaches, crush (hands work well), measure, mix in one cup less sugar than peaches and 2 Tbs lemon juice. Bring to rolling boil and cook to jelling point stirring frequently. Taste after about 5 mins cooking to make sure you have enough sugar, if not add 1/2 cup at a time. Then can in hot jars.

Coral, yes the dark background pics are really at dusk w/ the flash, but they look like pitch black night. The colors of flowers just pop when you take pics like that.
Betsy, I don't know my caster bean plants have been that way every time I've planted them, and when my Gma planted them years (like about 25 or 30 years ago) they were that way too. These are seeds I got from Okladoo, so maybe he could answer whether they are special hybridized or not, they do come true though these were seeds from last years plants.
