***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Getting a little shower...hope others are getting much needed rain...without the hail.
Just had a cow have her calf oblivious to the thunder and lightening flashing around her.

SJarvis...hope your sister is doing okay...been thinking about you folks the past several days.

Old*Cowboy and Grace's Dad...cute momm and peeps. Love to see those babies peeking out from under mom's feathers.

Just thunder so far here but

for rain. Especially since we didn't get any Sat and Sun when everyone else around us did.

Lightning and thunder here, but no rain so far. We had sprinkles around 7:00. Maybe it's already missed us.

jcatblum - Sorry you lost a Wellie chick. I hope the rest will be okay. Guineas are from another planet. I don't think they react to anything the way we expect. Once, when a fast-food bag blew across the front pasture, the guineas surrounded it and alarmed until I came to investigate. It was just an empty McDonald's bag, but boy they thought is was some horrible monster.

Those pics are so nice. The first two brought up a good memory. When I lived in the San Diego area I used to sell my designs at several Farmer's markets. At my favorite in Chula Vista there was a vendor that sold fresh Squash Blossom Quesidillas, so delicious!

Yipes! That sounds awful! My poor DH was stuck doing chick rescue here. I had mama hen and her one freaking remaining baby that hasn't been eaten yet (STUPID HAWKS AND SNAKES!) in a tractor and he got them into the coop before the hail hit. I was at chorus rehearsal. I hope your remaining chicks all recover okay.
