***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I'm using my computer, and it may be going through Google Chrome, which could be the problem. I know I need to make some changes, but it gets confusing when I try to do it (I'm afraid of losing all my information) and I don't seem to find the time to put it in the shop. I use my computer for quite a bit of correspondence for a couple of different organizations I'm on the board of, as well as OKIES in the BYC, my guinea fowl group and my silkie organization.

@True5 would you believe I typed out Cheryl, then backspaced and respelled?

Hate that you got three cockerels. That's like insult on top of injury after freezing your behind off at that auction to get them.

LOL! Isn't that the truth!? It was SO cold there! Will you all be going back to that same auction? I'm sure we will be there. It's going to take great restraint to leave without any extras...

here is the info i have on tylan dosages:

TYLAN
Dosage is 1/2cc injected into the breast muscle once a day for 3 days, 1/4cc for smaller birds. Inject just under the skin and alternate breasts and dont inject into the same site.

It can be given orally; 1/2cc orally once a day for 5-7 days, but no more than 7 days...1/4cc for smaller birds.

Can you post pics of the boys?

Here are Leah's chicks-

i am sure there are a few roos there, but they are so darn cute! a pair of delawares, orp andalusions, and dotte andalusian mixes

wind just kicked in and the power is flickering, so i'll shut it down...
I was just outside and that was just before I got on here. I will get you a few pics when I can brave this cold lol. Look at those babies!!! Oh I can't wait for mine to hatch!!!

HOT DOG IT'S COLD OUTSIDE! again. Hope you all are keeping warm. Everyone with electricity out last night, hows it going today?

Had to stop and repair a tin roof on a coop this morning, this dreadful wind had pulled two screws through the tin. Hope it wasn't like that for most of the night, poor birds! Also had a wall ripped off a small shelter we built to store the lawnmower and other yard equipment. It was only attached with staples, but still!!! There are some loose sheets of tin on the barn, but it has a 20 ft+ roof and I have no way (nor the inclincation) to get up there and fix it.... :( Maybe I can borrow my dad's extending ladder later this week. Just praying the tin stays up until then!

I had to replace the wire front of my coop this morning and recover it. The chickens let themselves out this morning, and they were UNHAPPY about it! How DARE they be outside without fresh water in their bowls and food being supplied for them?!?! I haven't been scolded that much since I was a kid.

Cheryl, it was a big auction, and I would be tempted to go back, but not until at least deep Spring! Maybe Summer! The drive is a bit far, so if we go as a group it might be more likely, but I like heat way too much to sit down there in this weather.
