Just got in from the sale Bob Bond an his boys came by an bot a few birds...It was a big sale i ges peep couldnt pop fireworks so they came to the sale...Hotdogs an Burgers tea for every one . O yah got ther in Time to get one of Jcub.. peanutbutter balls..Seen Al Doc Peachs an lots an lots of BYCers ther...Out of all the bird's one pigeun .
Lot's of ducks an chicken's tho..Rabbit's good thing P.B wasnt ther she would have loaded up on thim some show guy was saling out...

Enjoyed the sale, hate that prices were so low. (good for buyers, but caused some to pull birds before they even made it to the table).
Thankful my oldest DD wasn't there. She has been begging for some rabbits, they were cute, but I am doing good to keep the chickens cool & coops clean each day! I do enough encouraging to get the kids totals care of their individual chicken coops. DD was very excited to get the wellsummer pullets. She was eye balling them the 2nd she saw them. Told DH I bid on 1 set of hatching eggs, bit didn't get the winning bid. He was very thankful. Doesn't want to do any more coops or have anymore chickens right now. He has knee surgery redone in a few weeks & is struggling to get everything done before his surgery.

Thanks doc & peaches for the burgers. DH hasn't been here this wk so kids & I have been eating chicken nuggets & Mac & cheese, plus all their other favorites. Glad to have a grown up meal!

Thanks for the info on the anadarko sell Michael. We will check it out soon. I have guineas hatching every Monday, most are spoken for, but I know I will need to work on finding a few more options for sellin them next season.

Oh- last Saturday we stopped by Mary's swap & DD was very impressed. She was shocked how it just kept going. We didn't buy any bird stuff but managed to pick up a few misc items. DH seemed to do more shopping than us girls, go figure!!!

I was going to make the Cement auction but had to stay home, My 16 year old Rottie is not doing very well I found her laying in the edge of the pond and couldn't get up, I have her inside the house and trying to make her comfortable, she don't seem to be in pain just can't get up so I needed to stay with her, she was about 6 months old when she adopted me and we've been the best of friends for well over 15 years, Seems all the vets are closed and unavailable this weekend so not sure what to do other than just keep her out of this heat,

We went to Lake Lutra im not sure how u spell it ..It was at Ft.sill on Base to my granson's birth day party they have a nice beach an the water is so clear..
Then we went to Medicene park an went threw the old shop's an to the old plantaion restrant they have a great place ther to swim down in the creek 2 bucks
a person ther wer ducks an gease every wer they must have ben 7 or 8 drake's to one hen...
Macy went to Ft,Sill to the country music fest..she just calld an said it was over but the line to get out was long so it would be a wile ..
She had a car wash today to get money for church camp down at Tish so she will sure be tired wen she get's in ..
Any one go to any other sale's today hope to read some more post not much going on ...

No im not going this time .. Bob said they wer not this time he said that he would be back to the next Cement sale..
An mayb they mite get up to Mulvane next time his buddy wasnt going to be ther he had to work this sunday...​

Going out to feed the bird's the weed's are dieing on the hill we realy need rain a guy next to me field cot fire last week an he is saling all his sheep .
Some have black heads an some have red he wonts 100each ..Thot about buying some to keep the grass mowd in the back dont think it would take thim long to nock it out last yr i brush hogd it 3 times but this yr has ben so dry i havent cut it one time but around the pens..Got a swim pool for the ducks every morn they are waiting for me to fil it with fresh water....So see u guys later..
