***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Think of concentric squares, the refrigerator will be the underground den, the ref. will actually be on top of the ground but burmed all around 2 feet thick. The next layer where the tunnels will end in will be an above ground night preditor proof covered room, then through a regular size people door (open during the day closed at night) will be the ground run. The outside perimeter of the run on the rabbit side of the fence will have a short wall w/ planting space between the wall and fence for more forage.

I was only gone for 3 days, and I have about 20 pages to read here! Hope everyone is doing well, I went parasailing on my vacation! (and it was a good thing they were double harnesses, because if my hubs hadn't been there I would have had a panic attack. ha)

I'm also thinking about rehoming my 10 week old Bantam Cochin cockerel. He seems to be too active and protective for an indoor chicken (also loud). He has starting pecking my hand when I reach in to mess with them, which doesn't hurt but he makes it difficult to mess with Buffy and Scooter. He's easy to catch and mess with, just pecks me. I don't really want to cull him because he's very pretty and nice with my ladies, but I don't know if he works in my current flock.

I can provide pictures if needed (need to take some current ones), he's a dark buff and totally adorable.

I'm such a visual learner that I can't even begin to grasp that. But I'll have my husband read this and draw it out for me! I'm a mess
