***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I have to downsize by a lot…….:(   So here goes: Anyone interested in 3 female geese? They are all bonded to each other so I really want them to stay together. I also a few silkie hens left, 6 ducks (1 drake 5 girls-rehoming these guys is heart breaking), Swedish Flower Hens (1 boy, 5 girls), and my big mama goose who will come with her ducklings which should hatch tomorrow-only 2 eggs made it to lockdown. She is free to a GOOD home. She's the best ever and she has worked so hard to hatch these ducks, I want them to be with her forever. I also have some Olive eggers and barnyard mixes. And a Brinsea Eco 20 Incubator and both a large and small Brinsea Brooder heater, 1 for 50 chicks, 1 for 20. In a few weeks Ill have a styrofoam incubator but I have eggs in it still.

Im East of Noble but in Norman a lot. Please PM me if you're interested.

If only I was closer to you!! I would take alot of your birds!! But I'm in the Tulsa area. :(

Here is Miss Priss in her pink baby sock dress and in her new digs, complete w/ blue mom, I never brood inside w/o "blue mom"
Kassusndra Miss Priss is adorable!! Love her dress . I just love your blue mom. I remembered someone on here had a feather duster for the brooder and I went and got one too. It didn't workout so much because I only bought one. Now I see you have several dusters in a group. Genius!!!!

I am so sorry!  We lost our rooster to some dogs recently.  I think their owner may have moved away without them.  My husband got all 3 with the BB gun the last time he saw them, and will be ready with something better next time. Probably something lethal unless...... anyone ever tried using rock salt in shotgun shells?

Any animal, that is not under my control (and some that are under my control) are subject to multiple doses of lethal injections of lead, should they threaten my livestock. I keep a shotgun, and an AR-15 by every door to the house, when I'm home, and pistols handy, everywhere. I am a crack shot, and I'm happy to prove it, to the animals, that threaten my livestock, at any time.

Kass that is hilarious and cute at the same time! Poor thing there's no telling what she thinks she is! Lol hope she makes it. Her life is bound to be the makeing of a great story! Can t wait for the next pic.

Went to the auction yesterday. Brought home 8 more guinea pigs makeing a total of 24 now. But I was up to 31! They are working out for me. I had $18.50 in them and kept half(the females) and sold the rest for $150 . They keep me busy, moving them around the yard to mow it down and taking them in a night. I just love them. Also got a pair of Ancona ducks. I think they are neat with their color splashes..

One of my babies that's about 4 weeks old, from my small flock of silkies/showgirls. I think they are producing pretty well!

Had a total of 10 chicks out of 30 hatch. Not sure what happened other than its the old incubator I borrowed as an extra. But out of the 10, 8 of them were auction orpington eggs. The other 2 were out of my own birds an ee mix and a lavender orpington. Bummed the rest of the eggs didn't hatch.. especially Kass Ward's isbar eggs. :/

It's ok. We'll try again.
