I'm up , finished breakfast and the home chores, waiting on the guys to decide if we have to go fix that water gap at the bridge on the lease...


This hen is supposed to be a New Hampshire Red...but I think she may be Rhode Island Red...what do ya'll think. I'm happy either way.

Don't know breed on #1 or #2, but #3 is Ancona and #4 is Polish. Would love to know what color this standard Polish chick is.

Any idea what the blue gray baby is in the middle? These chicks are 5 weeks old and this one is huge.

Picture of the chicken run that the boys welded up for me last year. Love the doorway. The plate glass window to the hen house faces south, so there is a shade cloth on the slanted roof of the run.

If anyone and everyone can go to their post office and pick up an assortment of the

Shipping boxes, it would help a lot.
We always need boxes to put chicks and things in.
So when you get close to a post office, please stop and pick up a few boxes.
