***OKIES in the BYC III ***

old*cowboy :

I aint saying its dry but.......A man in Mooreland Ok said the chicken farmers were giving the chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying hard-boiled eggs.

I'm surprised the eggs aren't coming out poached. LOL

City whats this I hear about you and Jack crowding those poor hot hens out of their wading pool! Poor biddies,if you ain't careful they will be laying hard boiled eggs!lol
Thanks Monty!
Looks like Okracefan has got a nice looking piece of ground! Now the fun begins! At least he will be able to stay there while the other work goes on. Congratulations!

how is life in TN ????

Okla, U should have bottled some of the rain U got this spring. U would be a rich man selling it out this way now.

Okracefan is planning on just building a 1000 sf cottage style house without a mortgage.

Thanks guys and gals! I was missing you all to!
Joe its hot here too but we have been getting some rain so its still green(mowing twice a week!ugh!). But the humidity would make a bullfrog sweat!

Joe - How many batteries does your uncle have that he charges with his windmill? I've been trying to figure out how many batteries we might be able to charge if we had a windmill the size I saw at your place. We have a crawl space between the main house and the basement that DH thought we might use as a battery closet. We'd need room for a converter, too.

Doodle! Great to see you! How's the family?
