***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I love the chickens clothes! That's pretty awesome!

Some people thought I was absolutely crazy when I bought a harness to walk one of my turkey's.

I don't knit the sweaters I repurpose human sweaters for them. Most of the clothes I make them are from childrens onsies or pants, or adult sweaters or either socks (depending on the age toddler to adult)

That goes a lot faster! I used to sew my daughters school clothes, Easter dresses and all the Halloween costumes for her and the boys but I got major burnout and quit, now I don't have time. I wish I could knit, my grandmother taught me to crochet at 14 (i think) and I never could learn to knit after crocheting.

I was thinking about putting a diaper on one of the babies and going shopping, surely if a dog can go into a store I could take a duckling or gosling. I can't seem to get the sock perfected and they're growing so fast I don't want to buy anything...I'm frugal.

I don't know why it isn't quoting today??? Anyway I have never tried to make a diaper out of a sock, (or anything else) all the clothes I make for them purposefully have the butt end open (for obvious reasons)

LOL I need diapers NOW! I have a sneaky little gosling who taught everybody how to escape, not that they can get out now but you never know. I would hear them running across the floor, too funny, they are little poo factories! They love running around and exploring and I love watching. The last diaper I made from a sock lasted about 5 mins. The ducks get them off a lot faster than the geese, they all hate them. I have a new idea and I might try it today, I'm using old socks until I get it down before opening pkg of new ones...I better hurry or the baby down the road (next door neighbors) gets the socks!

My mom makes those sock diapers for her "house chicken", a tiny black serama named Ruby. They work really well on a chicken if you can get a good fit, maybe they would work on your goslings too.
