Left cement sale early. DD said wasn't feeling well. She came in & went straight to sleep, hope she doesn't have anything major. School starts thursday! Was good to see some familiar faces, sad the auction is moving, I really enjoy the 3 mile drive from my place!

Cowboy here is a brown compared to a pearl. Can't remember how old they are. Think about 3 wks.

Jason and I made out really good today with the selling of our Chickens, ducks and goose... Thank you okies for pulling through for us and buying our birds... its nice knowing that a majority of them will be going to awesome homes. Every penny we earned tonight with the sale is going to help defer the costs of this pending move come 3 months.

Jason and I did not bring our Naragensett Turkeys to the auction as we at this time have some one interested in some or all.. what we dont sell.. I will post here for yall to get first dibs and then take to another local auction(Blanchard quite possibly)... As we go about cleaning up our four little acres we will be deciding on what materials we will be selling off to help lighten the load.. that we had used to help fence or house our birds... Once its all organized and ready I will post that stuff too...

Thank you again everyone that bought our birds tonight...

my two kids who are currently enjoying a two week vacation at Disneyland and all that jazz are beyond grateful to those on here that purchased some of their babies.. and MARY BETH... Aleisha was in tears on the phone so happy that you bought Mia... as Mia was our baby together... she will miss him but knows you are the best at finding homes for beloved pets... so she says THANK YOU VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY MUCH...

Anyone else get wind damage? Our backyard is ripped to shreds. The bunny hutch colony was upside down! The wood swingset (huge) was twisted and flat. The trampoline is completely missing! The coop is good and the chicken fine. The bunnies are all fine. Sleeping inside until the insurance guy comes out and we can get their hutch back together!

But that all happened while we were gone getting some chicks. They are 5 weeks old. We got a welsummer. Some salmon faverolles some brabanters. White rocks and Bo! They are adorable.

I'll get pictures tomorrow of both!

What does bumble foot look like?? I have an older hen that has been crippled all summer. Would it be like a planters wart in humans? Thunder and lightning here just a sprinkle so far I hope to get some serious rain knowing it will be a beast tomorrow if we do.The 2011 death lose so far two 4 wk old bunnies and a baby silkie. It would be hard to call it Green County around here it looks more like a desert. Stay cool.
