***OKIES in the BYC III ***

You are a hardier soul than me - I am waiting for the rain to totally quit or for it to get almost dark - whichever happens first - before tackling the outside chores.

We worked on fence and the water gap in Paden. So mad at people who use creek bridges as their personal dumping zone. When the rains come, mattresses and bags of clothing along with aluminum cans and plastic get flooded out onto the pasture and little baby calves are curious enough to taste anything! Picked up four huge bags of other people's trash

and that was before even getting to the big creek. The big creek bridge had 300 feet of fencing and gap cover pulled out. It will take another day to get that one fixed. Why are people so senseless and thoughtless?!? Off my soapbox now.

Thanks for the ID on those chicks Cuban. Now I need to research White Crested Polish.

As you can tell, I am still here. Just as I was about to go out. It started pouring again.

It looks like the worst is past OKC but that there is still an hour or more of steady rain, followed by about an hour of light rain.
