***OKIES in the BYC III ***

ugh! I went to the Coweta auction, talk about crowded and no place to sit
rant.gif
and those Ameraucanas going for 32.50 each
ep.gif

I do wish I had gotten hold of that other Sumatra roo, he was pretty and hubby was outside so I didn't want to go too high on bidding on him
he.gif
then he let me go 35 for the blue sumatra

can't believe the Marans went for so little...if I didn't have babies in the brooders and eggs in the bator, I would have gotten a few of those too.

dang i need to get caught up on all of these auctions lol . i really could use a good blue sumatra roo , said most people are over run with roos and im looking for roos lol

Ok. I found the card. These are the people who had the beautiful Orpingtons, the amazing Cochins and the gorgeous Marans at the Coweta auction.
The Easter Egger prices amazed me too! They were gorgeous birds, but I have never seen them go that high before. It was definitely a seller's market that night!

Donnie~
My NN were being stingy with their eggs today. I figure the high wind and rain we had today threw them off. I will PM you when I get some eggs for you. Hopefully by the end of the week!

what orpingtons did they sale , and what did they bring do you remember

the eggs that are hatching that i got from the U of A , are bred to the sop , and was part of my word and the deal as to not take any money for the birds i can not sale them nor can anyone who gets them from the university, they are for showing and for learning purposes for adults and children , that is why id rather share them with people i know , and trade out a bag of feed for a mess of chicks as too it does cost to feed the little bugers lol, i thought that would be ok since its not money and im not gaining from it .. correct me if i am wrong for this please , i only need good karma
