That poor mare!!! I hope she foals soon!
the edema has to go down first , otherwise she wont let the foal suckle , its to painful , the mare would end up killing the foal from kicking at it , so i hope the swelling and inflammation goes down first
o its the angle of the photo im sure and viewing on phone... but edema is a fluid retention issue like an infection ,its caused by mover production of milk its not a good thing and mares wont let foals nurse when they have edema because of it being so painful
