***OKIES in the BYC III ***

We had a pair of Peafowl, sold them & now I would like a peacock again.  Had 2 in a 28x28 pen with a 8X16 shelter, aviary netting over the top worked well for them. I loved watching my boy dance. There is a Peafowl forum on BYC might be helpful in your research.
There is a guy out by me that raises a bunch of peafowl, I don't know him personally, but he is close enough that his & mine would both call at the same times. His name is Randy something??? I think. Since you are in Anadarko you may know who I am talking about.

Thanks for the info! I'll have to go check the forum out! I'm not sure if I know him.. Apparently there's a man with a bunch that goes to The sale barn here in town Thursday morning. Maybe the same guy?

Thanks for the advice! I guess we will be purchasing A gun soon.

we do have a dog- he is a boxer/? Mix. I'm am a little nervous to let him loose on the coyote in fear that he will get hurt. I would hate to have to pay a huge vet bill...
A cheap shotgun is less expensive than a cheap vet bill. An expensive vet bill could buy you a VERY nice gun

Good luck!

Hello all
I'm not an okie i live in Oregon and this is a long shot i was given a name in search of a trio of
show quality LF dark Cornish and was told to find Coral Hale said she lived in Coweta Oklahoma
said she might have what I'm looking for. any help would be greatly appreciated also if any one has some
that would be great to

The only Coral I know that lives in Coweta is user Poco Pollo. No idea if she has LF dark Cornish. Send her a message though she's on frequently!

Coral is Poco Pollo, she has reduced her flock so not sure if she still has dark cornish, Al has cornish, that is his only breed he deals with and his birds look amazing. He still posts on BYC but not on the Okie thread, he hangs out a lot in the meat bird sections.

Feel free to post in this thread things you are bringing to swap, sell or WTB. Also this event is a work in progress and we welcome your thoughts, recommendations or ideas! This event will be as good as “we” okies of the BYC make it! Thanks for your contributions.
I will be updating this post regularly with names of participants, potluck list, any schedule changes etc. Please check back regularly.
Please PM me if you are attending with the number of people in your party and what item you will be bringing to the potluck, as well as any volunteering you would like to do.

My EE always hatch before my RIR. Use to think it had to do with tray placement in my cabinet. But tested swapping locations & still EE hatch first.

This wk Taron hatched 100+ games for a guy & they hatched quick! Seem like once they pipped they were out (similar to guineas). Speaking of guineas, they will be hatching soon. Most of the first few hatches are already sold until early June. We are averaging 14-18 eggs a day.

Robin love that blue chick!!!
The guy you hatched all the games for is a coworker of mine, when he told me he took so many eggs to cement for someone to hatch for him, I knew it had to be you and your DD.
