Good morning friends and neighbors! I was up way before the chickens this morning.....Yellow Jackets and a Poppin' Johnny invaded my dreams about 4:00 AM......
Well, the coffee is on and it`s starting to kick in! I guess I`ll live....
It`s misting rain now and there is a 20 % chance of thunderstorms for today and I`m supposed to go to the Jenks herb `n plant festival....Y`all have a good `n!

Good morning everone! The rain is moving out and looks like its going to turn into a beautiful. Me and grandpa are going to put our 6 week old chicks out in thier new pen we built. they was getting too cramped in the small cage. cant wait to see all 23 of them out scratching in that green grass. hope everyone has a great day!!

My broody hen has turned out to be a GREAT mom- but she lost one of her three chicks last night.

I couldn't find it this morning, but then I saw two little feet sticking out from under her wing as she walked around- it had been tucked under her wing overnight and managed to get some fluff wrapped around it's neck, poor little thing. It was the biggest chick, too.

Hey guys, I am a procrastinator so when I went to order my Tshirts on Thursday evening I was shocked to find a shipping cost as expensive as the T-shirts for POOPS, so I called Kristen first thing yesterday morning and she was working on making a correction. Due to the error, they are going to leave the T-shirt order open until MONDAY. Also, anyone who already ordered Tshirts and paid that shipping cost will have a refund coming back to them. Our friends in Harrah got big hail last night. They got their mustang in the garage in time but their other cars got significant damage. DH reports that, 10 miles away, we got no damage but birds are putting on scuba gear.
