Jcat--Big Louie may have infectious coryza...try looking for pictures and info about it. It is a horrible disease that tends to pop up in the spring. It also has a rather unpleasant odor...I hope he doesnt have it!

Hello, I think it's time I joined in. I have been keeping up with this thread for a while but this is my first post. I'm in Lawton and spent the weekend working on our new coop/run. Lovein' the great weather.

Howdy, and a big okiehey guys im new to chickens. I live in Cache Oklahoma ive got 3 Ameracunas, 10 French copper marans, 2 Jeresey giants and 1 Silkie a lot of work but a lot of fun
I would really like to try it. I have Cochins and I know some Cochin breeders use play sand and really like it for keeping their flock's foot feathers nice. They say it is relatively easy to clean too.has anyone used sand here in Oklahoma I know they have a post on here about it but was wondering if anyone here has tried it and how it works in their coop
actually i did find it funny- i always thought coons were cute, till i found the remains of one of my young ducks.... that changed my perspective fastOf course those of us who have had racoons kill birds will find that balloon thing hilarious...apologies to those who dont...
Quote: that would be the organic ACV right?
lol...when my kids were babies, I had no idea that there was a difference...so either one I guess, organic probably being the best.
well, seeing as organic is $6 a quart, not something i keep on hand- i do use white vinegar for cleaning, wonder if that would work till i get to the store?
coral has graciously offered to be my taxi to poops-![]()
looking forward to it!!
