I have some naked necks and they actually are pretty good layers, laying nice big eggs. No problems with the cold for mine! The only thing is, that during the molts, some of them look really really bad - but it is just a molt and how they do it.I actually have heard they are great duel purpose birds and have a great flavor. I was considering a few to try as meat birds. I am not too sure of them as layers and in a winter like this I can't see a bare neck being a good thing! I take it you have some, how are they fairing in this cold?
