not sure what color it is i just know it is not blue i wish it was that is what i was hoping for when i bought her. So your not the only one, lol.

Years ago I had a hen that laid a light green egg. Until of course you took it inside and then it looked brown. Outside green, inside brown. LOL darndest thing that I have ever seen. She was a mix of Madagascar game, Black Giant, EE and OEGB. Just didn't know what she wanted to be when she grew up! Only have one green egg layer on the place now, her granddaughter. and I think she is like 6 or 8 generations out from the odd egg hen.

Update: will likely be going back to the hospital. I just noticed that, from my waist down, literally everything is swollen. My leg is coolish feeling and numb from lack of circulation, as well as having taken on a darker shade to it, so this cant be good.

What a pretty hen. Jack has a Blue Ameraucana that lays a pink egg. Is she then an EE? Her chicks are all either Blue or Splash. Muesky got some of Jack's Ameraucana chicks last year and one of them lays pink eggs too. Mama hen must have passed along the pink egg skills.
(The egg looks light brown till you put it beside a light brown one, RIR for example, and the "pink" is distintly a pale peach/pink color)

Wanted: Some of Jack's blue girl's blue babies. If he just happens to send eggs to POOPS, let me know!
