Apparently my missing chicken has been sitting on eggs somewhere! This morning the kids hollared at me to come look out the window. She was pacing in front of the coop door in the pouring rain! I don't know how I'm ever going to find her nest

Wah?! Kass, have you been extracting dna from the tummies of amber bound mosquitos?! Good thing his name is Rudy and not Godzilla...otherwise, we'd be in trouble!guys....I don't know how to break this to you, but....that is a dinosaur.
Wow. What a beautiful herd. And I love the names-Moon Pie is my favorite! And spook is gorgeous. Will you keep him for breeding? Anyone know of anyone in the area (OKCish) with bantam americaunas? I have no experience with them but am thinking about looking into them. All this talk of blue eggs has me wanting some variety!@mjgigax Don't worry, they are cute...but except for a baby silkie, (and a Rudy) I cant think of anything that is as cute as a baby mini horse!Meanwhile, some new calf pictures to help us wait...
This heifer does not have a name yet. She was born on the 6th.
This red and white heifer was born on the 5th. Her name is Cinco D Mayo Cowgirl CPL.
This solid red heifer was calved on the 4th...she is a Big girl! (but has a big mamma that can handle it)
Then there is Spook - the blue calf. he is looking pretty manly already!
And, my gold heifer - Target, look at the little horns popping at just over a month old. Then, finally, a bunch of head shots:
Spook, of course. The camera had a hard time with exposure.
Unnamed month old bull calf with Spook. They're buds.

i am so sorry! bless her little heartof the top is also not secured, so I put a heavy piece of landscaping timber on it until we can secure it tonight.
I feel soooooo bad about that sweet hen!
i hope the doctors figure out he problem and you get well soon. The problem was originally a damaged artery oozing blood, doing something called "blushing" (no idea what that is), and they said it should heal on it's own. We aren't sure what it is restricting blood flow but my leg is about 2x normal size and I cant even bend it because of how swollen it is.
Thank you. I hope this wont require any serious medical help, but if that's what it takes, then I guess so be it.
