***OKIES in the BYC III ***

No arguing here. I thought we were discussing art?? Since you didn't have a description of what you thought was horrible art I was opening up the floor for discussion on it.

You will miss out on finding new styles and artists if you don't talk about it.

I love art and I wear art everyday. I like everything - fantasy, abstract, surrealism, old school/new school, realism, and sculptures. LOVE cowboy art. Turn me loose in a museum and I'll be happy for a few hours.

I got soaked to the bone, but got a lot more done then I thought I was going to get based on last nights weather forecast. I even got 4 volunteer sapling trees transplanted to a better (at least for me) location.

Same here. I just have a point where it doesn't go down well with me.

I know, we are getting drenched here!

Being in crutches, and the chicken coop being on rough ground too far from the house for me to go on crutches to, I haven't been able to get to my girls, and it is seriously bugging me.

I am going back to the hospital tomorrow to speak with a trauma surgeon and have a check up done. From there, we will decide what path of action to take, be it surgery, or being admitted to the hospital for observation, since the wound has started to do exactly what the doctor said it shouldn't be doing--throbbing and feeling hot to the touch.

Definitely NOT a good sign. Sorry. Will add you to our prayers! I know on top of the discomfort and inconvenience comes the worry of medical bills. Get better!

It rained really hard here for about 30 minutes and has stopped for now. Forecast calls for rain on and off most of the evening. Stinks- we had a welcome home party planned at a park tonight for my brother-in-law who's been away at school all year!

The fact that I wont be able to do much for the rest of this month and possibly next just frustrates me. I cant be doing to much involving walking because I don't want to reopen the artery that I damaged in the crash.

The doctors said it was only bruised and oozing blood, but if I move around to much I could open it up, causing it to bleed. And if I break it, well.. we know what will happen from there. So I am in bed most of the time.

So sorry your leg isn't getting better, hopefully they can do something short of surgery to help it.

Hannah, there is no argument here, this is called a discussion. Nobody was wound up. What I saw was people who respected each other able to communicate civilly regarding ideas and concepts. Perhaps I saw it wrong?
