I'd happily take him and keep him with my silkie girls if I were closer. Sadly I'm about an hour and a half away :/ Hope ya find him a good home.
@ksane just sent me a message saying she would take him. (Cause shes super sweet and a softie for roosters :) )Not sure if she would rather someone else take him if they can. I wish I could link her name but that's beyond my Internet skills!
I'm near Holdenville out in the country. If someone else wants him that's okay with me as long as he has a good home :)
I actually have 2 silkie girls that are laying at the moment and 3 more silkie pullets that are in a separate coop till they're big enough to be with the other 2. So he'd have 5 girls all to himself!
Adorkable, you're actually closer than me and I'll help get him to you, too. I've got over 30 roosters (they're my weakness) but most of mine have to live in yards with other boys because I just don't have enough girls for them all. They seem happy enough but it's not the ideal life compared to having their own hens. So if you have Silkie girls you'd be a better home for him. He's from excellent lines and he's (IMO) the prettiest Silkie color there is. Would you like to see if we can set up arrangements to get him closer to you? How far would you be able to drive? I just don't want to see him end up in a bad situation or unwanted somewhere :)

Kass, who's birds are those? That's one of my most favorite color patterns.

Oh what a very happy boy he would be! And he is going to make some beautiful babies. I really like his coloring and comb! I sure hope it works out for you to take him.

Do you ever make it to any of the auctions or to the OKC area?

I go to the Maude auction every once and a while. Usually when I need egg cartons or wanting hatching eggs. I think maude is the closest auction to where I am. I don't really go out to OKC too much. I think I've only been there less than a handful of times since I've been in Oklahoma (about 5 or 6 yrs).
