***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Trying out a new DR Who episode. This one is reminiscent of Steven Kings "The Dome", but it is little earth gremlins that are doing it.
Met Ashtree today to deliver the silkie hen and chick. I think that they will have a great home!

So during our visit, noticed a young newly released boy limping. Caught him, looked more closely later and has his leg turned inwards near the ankle. Doh! he looks an awful lot like the one that I lowered the run onto (by accident) while scotching it over. D*&n it! He looked fine right afterwards and then I forgot. This was a few weeks ago. So, if it is broken, is it too late to fix? He really is getting around fine and keeping up with his buddies, just with a limp now. Any ideas?

Read that auction list again and the Blanchard 1st and 3rd was on the CANCELLED list....and was 2 years old.   Guess I better start reading the fine print.  

The Blanchard auction is the 2 nd and 4 th Saturday and it is not cancelled. J&J Poultry

I do not know if Blanchard is still doing 2 auctions a month. Usuallly they are second and fourth Saturdays. @Loriemarler

@junebug Congrats on the wins!! I'm very much enjoying the Seramas i got from you. Channing loves his little Henlet and she thinks he invented food, water, sunlight & all else in the world. I've never seen a hen more in love with a rooster lol

Alright-I have 2 turkey poults-a Blue Slate and a Bourbon Red that someone here should buy :-D They're 4 wks old and I got them for a hen to raise when I brought her hatched chicks inside. The turks were all over that yard and it was obvious they weren't going to last long that way so I stuck them in the brooder with the chicks. They're twice the size of the chicks now and starting to pick on them so I've decided to sell them. They cost $12 each but I'll take whatever you think is fair, no problem. I know they'll probably be Thanksgiving dinner but I'm not going to dwell on that. I'd just really like someone else to have them.
Please??!

Well sorry tukeys are a no-go for us this year. We don't have a pen to keep em in. I'm still working on building a house for my ducks. They are temporarily in an old pallet coop that I built as a grow out pen

Well, don't be too upset with him. Turkeys are a *lot more work than Silkies. And they eat so much more and poop so much more
