why don't people document the evidence? It's a crime scene!

How can an investigator determine what it was without seeing the scene? It makes it incredibly difficult to base it off eye witness testimony.

Slow down, Dragnet! lol
I lost a beautiful Black Bantam Cochin cockerel to a snake and declared war at that point. I bought these snake tongs that really work. Course i just stand there screaming for my husband with the snake in the tongs  Tree branch loppers work good, too.

Those interested in the pullets, here are some pictures. The mille fluer patterned ones are not for sale, they are my Russian Orloffs for next year.

The mottled orpingtons are also not for sale. Pure bred pullets $15 except the Rhodebar and blue orpington they are $18, mixed breed pullets $12.50.

Off the top of my head there are:
1 Rhodebar
1 blue orpington
2-3 black cochins
5-7 cochin crosses (anything with feathered feet and a leg band is a cochin cross)
3-4 Heritage Rhode Island Red
3-4 RIR crosses
1 gold-laced wyandotte
5-7+ Easter Eggers (they are the black pullets with muffs and beard and white lacing around their neck, they will lay green eggs)

There is also one frizzle cochin mix roo. I'm asking $8 for him.

I'm headed over to post on Craigslist so let me know soon if you want them and I will hold them for you.

Got another 10x10 dog kennel lined with the plastic hardware cloth for the LF Faverolles chicks and some chickes a hen hatched here. Here's one of the Fav pullets, I'm so in love with these guys.

And one of my Cochin/Ameraucana boys, he's been feeding the babies through the fence all day sine I put them out there.

This is the boy that sat in my lap all morning while I was trying to zip tie the plastic to the kennel. He's an Orloff/Marans mix and a real sweetheart.

And one of my Orloff/Faverolles boy. Faverolles makes such cool mixes.

Rinda, those pullets are sooo tempting and will go quick. I'm going to have to slow down a bit until I can get some of these chicks raised.
