***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Thank you for the info.
I think I need to read more about how to do it, then buy the materials, before buying worms. But, over here, in my neck of Oklahoma, I'm not sure where the nearest major pet store is. If not Muskogee, then maybe I have to go to Ft. Smith. But, it sounds like I need an education, before venturing into that world.
I was using the live mealworms as treats before I bought 5000 by mail order to start my own colony lol.

Yes they are. I kinda fell into these wasn't really ready for them but Dusti really wanted to get rid of them so I traded the pair for a cockrel and a capon. She was already preggers.
I saw them a POOOPs, We have tried to keep some pet ones a couple of times and had bad luck but my grils want to try agin but i want a small breed.

We like our mini rex alot but they're not heat tolerant and I always feel bad in the summer that he's stuck inside :( (plus bunny pee is NOT my favorite smell) we love him lots but haven't come up with a good housing system for him. Mostly he lives in a cage with an hour of run around time a day. I'd love to know if anyone else raises non heat tolerant rabbits and how they do it?

those look like super worms?
Are they superworms? Are they giant mealworms? The giant mealworms have been treated with a chemical to prevent them from pupating.
they are super worms but they will pupuate if you stress them out by putting them in a place with no food and no water
