***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I am really not good at the quoting and posting!
@Loriemarler, glad you found your birds. They probably loved camping out and are wondering why you were so worried!
@MrsDickey, those are awesome bantam eggs! Lovely!
@lonnyandrinda, how old are your Isbars when they start laying (ish). Mine (from your egg) is 25 weeks old. I know there are many factors that go into it, but waiting isn't any fun! I'm looking for a little hope...

I am going to start adding light in the mornings to try and promote more egg laying. Out of 20 girls in my big coop, I'm getting 10 eggs a day. My Jubilees aren't laying yet either, and only one of two Ameraucanas I have in with my Blue Maran is laying. I wanted to produce an olive egger! Maybe it's God's way of telling me to take a break from hatching...

Yes, that's me! I'm just not that in to bantams. If you'd like her, you can have her for $15. She was free to me (Easter adoption), but I've fed her for 25 weeks. I'd love to know she went to a good home!

Yes, I definitely want her. Is the rosecomb still available too? Is it super flighty? I love friendly bantams and have heard mixed reviews on Rosecombs, but it would be nice to have a friend with her to introduce to my sometimes unfriendly flock. Though Spike, the new rooster from nanakat, does a good job at keeping those girls in line. Anyway, I might be interested in the rosecomb but I'm not sure. Are you going to the show on Saturday? Ill be there bright and early so could either meet you there or go the rest of the way to your place to pick her (them?) up.

Is there such a thing as too much coffee? Lol
She is still available too. She flies more than the Orpington, but I wouldn't call her flighty. She's friendly...I can usually go right up to her and pick her up.
Meeting you would give me another reason to go to the show! I will PM you my number.

I know I said I wasn't that in to bantams, but Cochins frizzles may make a liar out of me. Would Atwoods have an NPIP certificate?

Well I wasn't going to put my next one together for a while, but had a couple of people on another site ask for a tutorial, so I had to put one together to get pics for a tutorial. So here is the burgundy and orange background, I think it is my new favorite!

I think the 2 sound like the best plan for intros and such. Im not sure about Atwoods being NPIP, but I do know I bought all the frizzles

My last post for the day, I promise! Here's a pic of my SFHs. The dark one is female, colorful one is male. I LOVE his coloring. Right now, I don't have plans to buy more and breed, but...does one hen throw such differently colored offspring? If I could make females that look like him, oh! What do you think breeding him with a (just for fun) Speckled Sussex or Jubilee would look like?
