***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I hope you are all safe after the storms through the night be vigilant more on the way.yesterday I left my house for a hour and a half when I returned someone had broken in and stole several blackpowder weapons .I feel so insecure in my own home sleep less nights in the future!!enough venting i had 3of8 eggs under a broody hatch yesterday I will leave the other eggs under her for a while my first brooding hen hatch will she leave the eggs if they are not gonna hatch.

WARNING! I lost 1 cat and another 1 is in OSU intensive. Care with bobcat fever! It is prevalent this year carried by the ticks that are on the bobcat. Guineas love ticks but I had mine penned up due to coyotes. Keep your cats in or keep frontline on them! There is a new frontline for cats that is quite effective!

Yikes sorry to hear about the theft!

Leave them under her for now, she will stay for a day or two and then abandon them to go feed and care for the chicks that hatched.

I hope @ashtree@HeyBigRhondaqand @bardies and any others in the effected areas are ok! I am in Bridge Creek about 2 miles from the tiger safari. We were underground for about 4 hours then come in to hear about wild animals on the loose! It was a crazy night! We Thankfully only had one tree that broke. Others only a mile away were not as lucky.

Doing fine....I didn't realize you were close to Tiger Safari... We have a pasture 2 miles south of there and was worried about my cattle for several hours - imagining how a longhorn would do against a tiger...then figured that the tigers would probably have other things on their minds besides taking down livestock. But - it was a huge relief when they let us know that all animals were accounted for!
Except for some debris from neighboring buildings, and a few downed trees (and one section of uprooted fence (how does 5 strand barbed wire fencing get 'uprooted?!') everyone and everything was fine. The pond was full, and the cows were puffy and irritable (but who wouldn't be). Life is as good as I could ask for. Glad you are ok, Keli!

We're good! The ponds are nice and full :)
