I have a neighbor who has eggs from Japanese bannies. White and black varieties. She's in Shady Point! 5D Farms in Wister breeds a few standard breeds and cochin bantams. You can find 5D Farms on Facebook if you're interested!

I am jumping back in here to ask about the great Shawnee, OK Poultry Federation show! I have enough chickens-on-the-mind that I remembered the Shawnee show must be this next weekend or two! I always loved that show!! Do you guys/gals have plans to show and meet-up there?

I was told it is the 2nd weekend in Dec. I'm tentatively planning on going so I can meet some breeders, and get a good idea of breed availability in the state. I was told I'm not allowed to come home with any new chickens. :/ I'm trying to get my stepdad to be my date for the event. This is my first year with chickens, so I'm a newbie in the chicken community. I'd be happy to run into you folks out there.

I've not been on in a little while. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We were in Texas with two of my brothers and one sister-in-law. Then when we got home, couldn't get on the internet. Had to have a new modem.
