***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Hey everyone!
Does anyone know where (locally in ok) I can find some Silkie or Maran chicks that are at least 4 weeks old? Its hard to find anything other than day old chicks. All my other babies are 4 and 5 weeks old right now.

Also, here are some photos of the progress on my "chicken Garden" the fence is still in progress, only 2 sides are finished. Have cow panels up on the left to keep my horse away from the wisteria.

Just finished the flower beds yesterday, and yes I'm completely aware this is likely the only time I will get to actually keep flowers in them. I know my chickens will demolish them lol

The enclosure around the coop (which you really can't see in the pic) is about 50'x38'.

Hey Allen! A member of the BYC OKIE forum mentioned your name when I was asking how to find some Millie fleurs. Are you selling any chicks?

Rooster problems didn't hatch any chicks. Maybe if he was, separated from the hens would help but too many things going on.

I'm in Oklahoma and have 2 silkie Roos I'm looking to trade for 2 hens (not silkies just hens of any kind pretty much). Is there anywhere I can post them? Just want to make sure they go to a good loving home :)

UPDATE: they found homes but I'm still looking for some hens

Where in OK are you? Do they need to be hens? Or are chicks okay? I can probably hatch out a few Buff Orpington chicks for you, but you would have to pick them up in Blanchard. I like hatching chicks!

I'm about 30 mins from stillwater. Blanchard is an hour and 45 mins away :(

So if an egg is submerged in water for approximately 24 hr. Would it still be viable to try and hatch out?

Been a while since I've been here, hope all is well with everyone. I have too many chicks hatched and still hatching! Have a great spring and pray for a cool summer.

Blessings,

Bo
