***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Howdy howdy Lincoln county, farmer, gardener looking to acquire some standard size NNs to incorporate into a sustainable meat flock.

Everyone have things tied down for tomorrow's wind? Sounds like it is going to be a rough day.
Had everything tied down, but the tree that shades the chicken run snapped in a strong gust! None of my girls were hurt, thankfully.

The wind has shifted to the NW here and you can feel some moisture on the air. The air has been full of dirt and smoke off and on today. The fires at Leedy and Carmargo are about thirty or forty miles SW of me.

Nana take care of yourself, its been that way here too, health issues are interfering with chicken keeping. Need to do some coop repairs, its a slow process, but enjoying those chickens I have and waiting for cooler weather. Post when you can!
Good to see you still on here, I haven't been in a long, long time but I'm thinking of getting back into raising chickens
