Im pretty new here, miss a weekend and baam it is shut down. I am so happy it is up and running again as it is real good reading. Getting excited about POOPS this weekend. Hope it aint as hot but oh well that is what shade and ice drinks is for.
Old*Cowboy - I enjoyed meeting you last Saturday, while at Mary's. I have to admit however that I was expecting someone with a grey handlebar mustache from your screen name.
Thought I might introduce myself since we are sort of "neighbors". I don't think I have any other people interested in chickens this close. I live in Cleo. We go to Waynoka to the German restaurant and was just there for the snake hunt.
You probable come by my house to get to Waynoka. I live between cemetary and air port. Two best niebors I could ask for. I have been interested in chickens and pigeons for more than 40 years. Used to judge lots of Fairs all over the country (pigeons and chickens) and go all over US showing pigeons. Got almost out for awhile. Now I am fighting some medical issues and needed something I could do here at home so starting back with raising a few chickens. Holler next time yopu are in the nieborhood.
I have a friend in Enid that used to show pigeons. She quit a while back, not enough time. We also go to the arena when they have a barrel race or ranch rodeo. Lots of fun.
Your leatherwork is beautiful. We are getting a leather sewing machine and I could use some pointers. I also would like to get something made for my husband. He needs a new sheath for his knife. That would make a nice present.
Oh and I was gonna tell ya that I had a big brown Tarantula I was gonna bring ya but last night he jymmied the lock on his cell and escaped into the abyss that is my garage.
He is a lost cause now! Nothing has ever returned from there except me.
Monty - you are supposed to hold on to any tarantulas for me - I am the one who wants one.

If you want to come get them, my husband sees them all the time. He brought one home for my daughter last year. She wanted to take it for show-and-tell. It got out of it's "cage" and was missing in the house for a week. Found it, it got out again, jumped at me when I went to catch it. It went to school and then back to Cheyenne Valley where he found it.
