***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Since this is Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plain and the temperatures regularly change 40 degrees in one day, it might be a good idea for folks to plan ahead and toss a long sleeved shirt in the truck in case the temperatures are cooler than expected. There isn't much to break the wind around the Fletcher fair grounds, other than the buildings themselves, so it might be more comfortable to have a long sleeved shirt on when we are outside - particularly in the morning. Just thinking out loud

(and if your mother always made you wear a sweater because she was cold - just remember you get to make decisions yourself now and sometimes, mom was right

Good morning girls and boys, one more day then headed south. I am excited, this will be my first POOPS and am really looking forward to meeting all you and looking at some good fowl. I was going to get on last night but electricity went out at 6 and didnt come back on till after 2 this morning. I finished the Naked Neck legal notebook that I will be donating to the auction.

I am gathering shoe boxes and used packing boxes to bring for baby chicks, since I am certain Jaxon will "need" to buy some. Would y'all do me a favor and not hand him any chicks that aren't blue and feather free on their legs? I certainly don't mind buying him what his heart desires, but since I will have to feed and raise any and all acquisitions of his, I would prefer that they be something I would like to have long term.

Yes, they would be adored by Jaxon since they have a cool top hat and they meet the criteria since they don't have feathered legs. Bring 'em on.
