I have mixed feelings about him retiring - I know he will miss the people, but maybe now he will have time to visit his children on the weekends!

The Little Brother my parents decided to give me when I was two (without consulting me, I might add) is moving from the DC area to Omaha. Some little job at some little AF base up there or something. Whatever - I was surprised they even decided to give him a name (without consulting me) but seeing he survived to adulthood (in spite of my efforts to cull him) I guess it's okay. Here is a photo that sums up our sibling dynamic. I am mad because he exists and he is about to cry already because he knows what will happen as soon as no adults are watching.

(By the way Teach - this photo was taken at my grandparent's place in Hooker. Ruthe & Diz Boyles live there now - 3 miles west & 2 miles north of the Baptist church.)

She is my prettiest from the breeding that produced her. I also have a gold stag (her brother), and her sisters: a spangled dark pumpkin hen, a dom hen, and a masculine black hen.

She will be at POOPS, but not for sale!
