***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Fixin to start cuttin up pig and puttin in foil pans, may have to sample it with a pulled pork sandwich or two first!!!! If someone wants to bring something they could bring buns, I am only bringing pork and sauce!!! Got three kinds of Sweet Baby Ray BBQ sauce!!!! The pork is cooked with salt,pepper,and onion powder and some will have BBQ spice added to that, but if you want sauce you can add it yourself!!! Got a lot of stuff to load tomarrow. Check in later!! Honestly, I have to go back and look at a bird... I have chili cheese fries in front of me and waiting to "discuss" more with the chinese about thier products.. I am having some fun with this today and the site is keeping me sane.. its either that or go sit and visit with my birds and ignore my phone and everything else. Quite frankly the birds are getting tired of seeing me today.

I took some pictures of my mixed flock while I was working outside today. Bil decided that the EEs weren't sooooo ugly and that we also needed some turkeys. So now I have these:

This little chicken was supposed to be a naked neck frizzle, but I think it got scrambled a little. It was the only thing to hatch out of a box that was nearly destroyed by the post office.

Outside, the adult Easter Eggers and assorted oddballs were scratching around in their run.

The two Black Australorp pullets will probably come to POOPS too. They aren't laying yet, but it will be soon.

Taj the Peacock is deeply in love with one of the other pullets. She doesn't give him the time of day.

Lost a lt brahma hen last night, somrthing pulled the wire loose on the top corner of the pen 7 feet off the ground. I guess it found a way around the 5' chain link I have outside the poultry wire.
