What is the hay for? I need to get some for my goats anyway. have the live trap already. I thought it was a coon. It had been getting in my dog food till I moved the food to where he is too afraid of the dogs to get into it.

The hay is to set on while the dogs run and tree the coon, OH I was having flash backs of my hound days. The hay is realy to put around the trap so it cant get to the bait anyway but the trap door.

Down side to the hay is you might catch a skunk and wont know it till you stick your face down to check

Thats why the 4th bale that sits on top it can be lifted up to see whats in there without getting sprayed.​

Just trying to help out.. we all have to chip in and do our part, this time it is making sure the pie doesn't go bad and get wasted.
