***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I heard about the flooding on the Illinois Ronnie but hadn't heard about Tenkiller, but it makes since I guess!lol I bet it really did get big with all that river water running into it.

Okla are you familair with Cherokee landing by chance? If so the water was all the way up to the gate and thats a LOOOOOOONG way from the bank lol. That means the restrooms and camp areas where completed flooded out.

edited to add that flooding killed my crappie season. I love sitting on the dogs pitching minnows or jigs and pulling in them papermouths. Guess I got some catfishing to look forward to, gonna take a vacation next month and give it a go.

Welcome to the chicken club where acquiring lots of chickens keeps insanity at bay or so they say. LOL
Beware of going to Atwoods near the end of chick days....they'll be practically giving away the leftover birds. Just ask Pepper, he went and got such a special deal on turkeys that he got them all.....40 something. LOL He has a huge freezer full of turkey meat now and that's why he owns the big clucker plucker!

Thanks so much for the charms! You are so talented. I cant decide what to make with them yet. Cant wait to see what you come up with next time. I hope to be a little more prepared and get some of the cards made I was telling you about. So hard for me to stay inside but as it gets hotter here I will get back to crafting. Great seeing you again. Take care, DeAnn

Start learning to post pictures now because I want to see.

I am so disappointed that not only did I not get to see Funchicks stuff, I never got to see her either!

Maybe wishful thinking...lol

I come home with alot of cochin chicks, 2 rabbits and alot of other birds...

I am requesting anyone that took pics, to please send them to [email protected] so that Doc, my DH has a chance to see them and show them to his buddies.

I wish poops could have lasted longer... Thanks everyone for the appreciation they show AL, Me and the others for the putting together the barn and facilities.

More heavy rains coming in a few days......those lakes are never gonna go down. Only thing going on now is skeeters and snakes and turtles! High water drives the snakes out so be very careful at the lakes. I spooked a snake in my yard recently but I didn't tell it that it spooked me even worse! LOL I'm surrounded by lakes....Hudson, Spavinaw and Grand Lake.

I was in atwoods today buying some sulmet, durn chicks got cocci from all the rain I guess. They had so many chicks with bloody backsides in there it was sad. They are way overcrowded in there tubs. They had one tub set up with nothing but wounded birds with some kinda dark topcial dressing on the wounds. But they had alot in a tub full of chicks (some where pretty well feathered on the wings) with bloody backs and butts.
