***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Morning Okies - Haskell took a hit in yesterday's storm. We're okay. We live south by a few miles, so the twister missed us. The tornado picked up a big oak tree, flogged some buildings with it, and then set it down across the road. DH had to take an alternate route to work this morning. I know a lot of property was damaged in town, but I don't think anyone was injured.

We lost power for most of the night so I couldn't post. I'm headed out to finish feeding our flock. I'll check back in a few hours. Hope everyone is safe.

Since it is never too early to plan for the next auction, who is planning to go to Blanchard this weekend? Jaxon is already asking the date of the next poultry auction. I think I have created an auction junkie in a 7 year old.

Okies,

I don't post a lot, but spend a lot of time lurking and/or catching up....I am O.K...My shop is in Moore. I knew we were in for a hard afternoon and evening so I sent my employees home early and told them to be in a safe place by 3:00...I stayed until 5:00 and when things go bad in Chickasha that's always my que head home (east of Draper Lake). I have an underground shelter there and have a mental note of every underground shelter along my route home (in case I can't make it home). Everything is O.K. at home. I did navigate debris in the road on my way back to work this morning....shingles, sheetmetal, insulation...I don't know from where. My employees are starting to show up for work. One from Newcastle/Blanchard area has no water and no electric....One from Norman spent the evening in the bathtub (no water)...others not here yet.

Good morning Okies - glad to hear everyone is okay and sorry for any damage you suffered.

Monty - didn't you say you were thinking about rearranging anyway?

Poco - so glad to hear you and yours are okay - was worrying about you while watching the weather.

Banjoejoe - glad you're okay - it looked like the bad weather hung around over your area for a while.

Has Cuban checked in? I think there was a huge scary storm around her area late last night as well.

June you are smart to have all those shelters memorized - I hope all your employees are ok and glad you are fine.
