***OKIES in the BYC III ***

morning guys! ever hear a dog roar? we have buddy roaming at night, to guard the critters- so the ducks are penned near the porch, and he is asleep on the porch- well last night he goes ripping off the porch and you could hear him clear up through the trees- so whatever wanted a free meal got more than they bargained for- this went off and on for a few hours- i have no sympathy for the culprit...

meanwhile- the bedtime routine of a broody and chicks- much more entertaining that TV-

Hello OkiePeeps!

Robin, I don't think I've heard a dog's roar but I've heard one from a raccoon...sounded like a large, angry bear - maybe Buddy was after one of those - raccoon or bear. At one time it was thought that raccoons were members of the same family as bears.

Monty and Maribeth - I enjoyed reading your conversation from early this morning. You two need to quit meeting like that!

Our friendly pigeon visitor:
You can see in the roof photo that the bird has a red band on it's right leg....

The bird in flight shows black tips on each of the tail feathers and perhaps one or two on the wing tips.
