mj- man some people have talent finding bargains!!

Hi everyone thanks for the responses on the dubbing. Don't think I would ever do it, I personally like the wattles.
On a side note, I candled the eggs under the broody today. First time I have ever done that. At first I found 10 of the 18 that I thought were fertile or questionable. So that left 8 not fertile. Well, brought them out of the barn and decided to break them and see if I was correct. First one immediately saw an embryo, but didn't really have veins but they must have been there somewhere. Then next one did not, then the next two did.
Felt bad and just put the other 4 back under the broody. I obviously am not doing a good job candeling.
just went and checked dates- she disappeared April 30, so we should see something of her in the next few days?? i never found feathers from her the way i did the others that were killed- i also noticed the gander is shedding some tail feathers- maybe a molt or adding to a nest??? i'm grabbing at straws- we need to make a goose pen, or waterbird pen....

I was thinking the same thing with the strips but the glue is a great idea.
They know what a hot wire is so they would only do it once. Hopefully I don't have to go that far. The gates are repaired & I have moved everything out of those until I have time to repair & make stronger.
