So far none of the POOPS eggs have hatched, the duck eggs will be a bit yet, I have 8 chicks as of this morning but those are from my birds, the Wellsummer eggs mostly candled good a few days ago a few I just couldn't see through well enough to tell for sure LOL They are so dark shelled makes some of them hard to see unless you see it move. Only one of the Campine eggs seemed to have turned out fertile and it's still moving should hatch later, I culled a bunch of duck eggs and Wellsummer around day 14 when I last candled
Considering the Campine eggs came from an auction the week before POOPS and were refrigerated to help "hold" them, if any of them hatch it will be incredible.
It is raining in OKC
I didn't know they were that old LOL I didn't even think about it I held them in the room where the incubator in for almost a week also before I could get them into it, so yeah probably a wonder even the one turned out to develop I sure hope it hatches that might just be one tuff bird LOL
I have 16 so far but still all just my own eggs that I just grabbed at random to fill on up the bator after I got all my POOPS eggs into it, the Wellsummer eggs still look viable but none have even pipped yet,
I made a mistake with my egg turner and broke it
I use a wire piece to keep hatching chicks from falling into the bottom and it also holds the trays from tilting unfortuntly I forgot to turn off the timers to the motor so it either broke the arm that tips the trays or burned up the motor so now I have to turn eggs by hand till I figure out how to fix it and can't do that till this hatch is done, the only eggs left to turn are the duck eggs and the one goose egg I am turning them by hand till I get all the chickies out anyway.
